Matariki has been a time for us to celebrate our Winter Solstice and acknowledge another celebration in our diverse culture in New Zealand. The class have created 7 original Kites from the Legend of the 7 sisters at Matariki with 7 different groups working together. The final kites are truly a testimony to their perseverance in completing a piece of art with multiple layers.
