Well week 6 is over now and I want to say a huge thanks for all the support this week with all the extra activities on. Not only your support from home in ensuring your child had their togs and appropriate clothing for swimming, but especially to the parents who came and gave up 2 afternoons to support the Aquatic programme. (Many even getting in for hours on end to assist in the water)
It does make it a lot easier to both cover everything and dress the class afterwards. Believe me it was really appreciated.
Both Mrs Bright and Mrs Weir were impressed with the children's stamina and behaviour and despite their tiredness the swimming was a hit with the class. I realise for many children that would have been their first time in Kayaks so something to build on for next year.
We also had our House day today which fortunately wasn't too hot and they all looked a picture in their colours.
